Josh Hall Claps Back At Ex-Wife, Denies Spousal Support Rumors
Josh Hall can’t believe what his ex-wife Christina Haack has to say about their spousal support situation. This celebrity break-up has been incredibly contentious since the start. Even several months later, it doesn’t appear that the drama will clear up anytime soon.
Now, Josh and his attorney are publicly slamming the alleged rumors Christina Haack and her own lawyer spread about his request for spousal support.
But as this case drags on, many members of the public feel a bit puzzled — who is really telling the truth?
Josh Hall Feels Angered By Christina Haack’s Claims
Recently, Us Weekly published an article with a statement from Christina Haack’s lawyer. He claims that Josh Hall requested a whopping $65,000 in spousal support — a sum that the attorney slammed.
“Josh Hall is requesting $65,000 per month in spousal support from [Christina] on a 2 year, 9 month marriage, which is outrageous when he is self-supporting,” the official statement reads. It goes on to say allege Josh doesn’t need spousal support since he reportedly just paid more than $70,000 on a Bentley lease.
At the time of the break-up, Christina acknowledged she would probably have to pay some form of spousal support at some point. But she certainly doesn’t think $65,000 is fair.
However, Josh Hall and his legal team absolutely deny he ever requested that much. And they aren’t at all happy that Christina keeps slamming Josh at every possible turn.
Christina’s Ex Posts His Own Side Of The Story On Instagram
Since news of the divorce broke, Christina Haack has had no problem sharing her side of the story on social media. Josh said he preferred to keep things private but isn’t above responding to these allegations.
“This filing is riddled with provably false statements. For one, Josh never requested $65,000 in support. That’s false,” Josh’s attorney shared with PEOPLE, regarding Christina’s lawyer’s statement.
However, Josh took a more personal route.
“So now @dearmeylaw files legal declarations riddled with lies and assumptions… interesting tactic for someone who is a licensed attorney and took an oath of integrity. Pretty sure making provably false statements to a judge is unethical,” he wrote on his Instagram stories, tagging Us Weekly.
As far as the public is concerned, it’s difficult to know who is telling the truth. Unless more legal documents come to the surface, this looks like a “he said, she said” situation to the public.
