As viewers know, people are looking for every reason they can nowadays to throw Ryan Seacrest under the bus. However, there may be a legitimate reason as to why many have a bone to pick with the host based on this recent bonus round.
Ryan Seacrest interjected at the last moment, and, in a game like this where every second matters, many viewers blame Ryan for costing this contestant the bonus round. There was more than enough time for a Hail Mary last guess if the new host did not interject prematurely.
Viewers even pointed out that Pat Sajak would wait until the full puzzle was revealed before saying anything, with Ryan botching the order of things. Unfortunately for this contestant, Seacrest jumping the gun a little too early essentially cost him a new car.
