Hallmark+ Releases Mistletoe Murders Season 1 Sneak Peak
Hallmark+ just released the Mistletoe Murders Sneak Peek for Season 1. This stars Sarah Drew as Emily Lane. In addition, Peter Mooney portrays Detective Sam Wilner. This is based on the Audible Original by Ken Cuprous. Cuperus is the showrunner of Hallmark’s first original mystery series.
According to TV Line, Emily Lane may own the local year-round Christmas shop Under The Mistletoe, in the bucolic town of Fletcher’s Grove, but she is harboring a deep, dark secret. She knows that despite the coziness of the town, there is a sinister underbelly.
Therefore, when Marcus, a local banking executive is murdered, she doesn’t trust the cops to solve this. Sure, she kinda has a soft spot for Sam, but she is used to being a loner. Besides, she has the tools to do some sleuthing on her own.
Emily heads over to the local daycare. It is run by Lizzie. She used to date Marcus. Using the excuse that a friend wanted to know about the daycare, Emily starts chatting with Lizzie. She balks at being too nosy, but in the Sneak Peek, Lizzie is happy to talk about her past with Marcus. Lizzie reveals that they wanted different things. She pats her belly and Emily congratulates her. Yes, there is a new man in Lizzie’s life and he is the father.
Soon, Lizzie reveals that she was on the hayride at the tree farm, which places her near the scene of the crime. Moreover, she was there alone. Lizzie says that she was there to check on how safe it was at this event. She was considering it for the daycare kids.
Now, Emily has to leave. As she walks away, she becomes the narrator as she places Lizzie on the list of suspects. She knows the ex-girlfriend is lying. But why?

Hallmark+ will drop Mistletoe Murders starting on Thursday, October 31. There will be six episodes that will run into early December.
