Pregnant Gypsy Rose Blanchard Steps Out For Date On The Water
Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her boyfriend Ken Urker are on a “babymoon” of sorts. The Louisiana couple is currently traveling in California and Gypsy shared a few snapshots from their picture-perfect date night in Marina del Rey. Continue reading to catch a glimpse of the looming mom-to-be.
Gypsy Rose & Ken Urker Explore California
On Friday, October 11, Gypsy Rose Blanchard shared two photos on Instagram of her date night out with Ken Urker. The first was a selfie of her alongside Ken. They both smiled at the camera. Ken sported sunglasses with a zip-up top. Gypsy wore a white spaghetti-strap dress and doubled up on necklaces.
The second snapshot showed Gypsy Rose looking out at the water. Her hair was clipped back and she wore an oversized cardigan over her dress. On Instagram, she kept the caption simple, writing, “Marina del Rey” with a heart emoji.
Gypsy has shared several updates since they’ve been in California. The day before, she posted a photo of them standing in front of the Golden Gate Bridge where she showed off her baby bump a bit. “The view was incredible, but the company made it unforgettable,” she wrote.
Ken Urker and Gypsy Rose were visiting San Francisco so that Gypsy could participate in a panel called “Thin Line Between Victim and Victimizer.” According to her Instagram, Gypsy was able to sit down and share some of her thoughts about prison reform, education, and “advocating for positive change in the justice system.”
Gypsy’s Memoir To Be Released Later This Year
The entire world became enthralled with Gypsy Rose Blanchard after the release of several documentaries about her life and eventual imprisonment. Gypsy was a victim of Munchausen by proxy. Throughout her entire childhood, her mother Dee Dee Blanchard allegedly made her sick, forced her to take medication she didn’t need, and even made Gypsy believe she couldn’t walk.
When Gypsy started to suspect something was wrong, she began to rebel. Eventually, she started a relationship with Nicholas “Nick” Godejohn, who she met online. The pair allegedly planned out her mother’s murder.
She spent eight and a half years behind bars before being released in 2023. Due to the abuse she suffered as a child, many people were happy to see her out of prison and she was turned into an instant celebrity upon her release.
In addition to waiting on the arrival of her baby girl in January, Gypsy Rose has also been traveling to speak in places like San Francisco. The ex-con has also worked on her own memoir, My Stand To Stand.
She recently revealed that she finished recording the audiobook for the memoir, sharing a clip on Insta. Gypsy captioned the post, “And that’s a wrap on my audiobook! I’m so excited to share that My Time to Stand will be out in two months! Until then, here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come.”
My Time To Stand: A Memoir will be released on December 10, 2024.
