Fans have been speculating for some time that Carrie Underwood has gone in for cosmetic work. Everything from fillers to Botox is often a topic of discussion among the fanbase. While Carrie Underwood fans continue to talk amongst themselves about the numerous procedures that they think she has had, cosmetic surgeons recently gave their opinion on what type of work Carrie may have had.
Speaking to Life & Style, double board-certified and fellowship-trained facial cosmetic surgeon Dr. Renata Khelemsky said that the singer may have “made some subtle enhancements to her lower facial silhouette.”
The surgeon continued, speaking of Underwood’s glowing skin, saying: “And her skin is absolutely radiant. It’s possible she’s undergone a light chemical peel or laser resurfacing treatments often favored for achieving that luminous glow.”
More Cosmetic Professionals Weigh In On Carrie Underwood’s Look
The Carrie Underwood plastic surgery chatter kicked into high gear recently when the singer and new American Idol judge shared pics fly fishing in Montana with her husband. On that post, many commenters said how different she looks. According to several cosmetic professionals, there’s likely a good reason for that.
Dr. Dennis Schimpf, a board-certified Charleston, SC plastic surgeon, went on to say that Underwood is likely using medical-grade skin care products, in conjunction with laser treatments or peels. He also suspects that she has had jawline and chin fillers, along with possible liposuction in the neck.

Carrie Underwood fans have been suspecting plastic surgery for some time. Even though none of these recent surgeons have personally worked on Underwood, the fact that they think, in their professional opinion, that she has had work done, certainly adds some weight and validity to the fan speculation.
