‘DWTS’ Ezra Sosa Admits He & Anna Delvey Are Still Friends
Dancing With The Stars fans were not at all happy to learn fraudster Anna Delvey would join the show this year. She seemed quite polarizing to both viewers and cast members alike. But even so, her dance partner Ezra Sosa is glad he met her.
In fact, they’re in regular contact.
Ezra Sosa Happily Found A Friend In Anna Delvey
After Dancing With The Stars ends, many pro dancers part ways with their celebrity partners. But that isn’t the case for Anna Delvey and Ezra Sosa.
“We’re texting every day,” Ezra told PEOPLE in a recent interview. “Yes, we are. She’s like, ‘You have to come to New York!’ And I was like, ‘Do you miss me?’ She goes, ‘Sure.’ But every single time she says sure it means yes. Like, I kind of have her down a little bit.”
After Anna and Ezra left the competition, many DWTS fans felt angry with the executive team. They felt that Ezra deserved a better partner, especially as a first-time dancer.
But the 23-year-old admitted he’s happy with the way things turned out.

“I felt like I was in great hands and getting to dance with Anna and letting her open up to me, and showing a different side of herself to me, I feel so grateful that she even felt that comfortable around me,” the Utah dancer told PEOPLE. “Yeah, I’m just so happy that she was my first partner. Honestly, truly.”
The Newest Pro Reacts To Anna Delvey’s Infamous Exit
When Julianne Hough asked Anna Delvey what she learned from her time on the show, the con artist flippantly announced, “nothing.”
It wasn’t a popular answer, but Ezra admitted he didn’t mind it at all.

“So when we’re walking right next to Julianne, she asked her that question, I was — I’m not going to lie — I was a little nervous what she was going to say,” the 23-year-old recalled about their elimination on Oscars Night. “But with what she said, I think it was very iconic.”
Even though many DWTS fans found Delvey’s answer incredibly disrespectful, Ezra felt happy because she was true to herself until the end.
“With me being her partner on the show, I wanted her to show different sides of herself to America, but also I don’t want her to ever change who she is, because I really think she’s so brilliant and everything,” he told the publication.
