In the interview, Kathie Lee said she would be “in an insane asylum without Jesus” and she “could have never made it” without that relationship (via OK Magazine).

“I’ve been through a lot of crappy stuff in my life. I’ve been blessed beyond belief as well,” Gifford admitted. “But I’ve had a lot of things that ended up being very public too, that would have put me away for a long time and done a lot of damage to my family, to my everything.”

Kathie Lee said she made it through by “holding Jesus’ hand.” She continued by saying she had been through so much in the last 20 years, and it had made her “cling tighter” to his hand. She admitted that some people “come to God in a foxhole,” but she has clung to him for her entire life.

She didn’t mention all the bad things in her life, but some of it is public knowledge. Her late husband, Frank Gifford, cheated on her in 1997. However, she forgave him, and they remained together.
