Undeniably, this season of Sister Wives is showing the dirt between the former wives, Meri, Janelle, and Christine, and the current couple, Kody and Robyn Brown. While there was discussion about the tension at Logan Brown’s wedding, Janelle also revealed how difficult it was to explain to her kids there were different rules at Robyn’s house. After seeing the latest episode of Sister Wives, many fans are stunned by Robyn not letting Janelle and Kody’s six kids eat her food.

Robyn Brown Wouldn’t Let Janelle’s Kid Eat Her Food?

During the latest episode of Sister Wives, Janelle Brown brings up that when her kids were younger, there was a different set of rules at Robyn Brown’s house than the rest. When the Browns lived in Lehi, UT, they had a combined home for Meri, Janelle, and Christine to raise kids collectively with Kody Brown. After Robyn joined the family, her home was nearby, but not connected. In some ways, it made sense they had different living experiences. However, as the Browns moved to Vegas family funds began to be spread between the four families and they were attempting to integrate all homes. Furthermore, it was very difficult for Janelle to get past the “separateness” that Robyn held to.

Janelle confesses, “My children, like, were scolded if they would open up Robyn’s fridge.” Meri explains that anytime a new wife comes into the family there is tension. After hearing Robyn talk about her family not being accepted and Janelle asserting her kids were reminded of their place in Robyn’s house, fans are livid.

First, a user says, “Well, now we know who the sign on Robyn’s fridge was for …..” Then, they add a screenshot of a sign on Robyn’s fridge saying, “PLEASE ASK ROBYN OR MINDY BEFORE YOU TAKE ANY FOOD. THANK YOU!”

Seemingly, it wasn’t odd for the Brown kids to help themselves to any of the refrigerators except for Robyn Brown’s.

  • Another fan recalls, “I guessed because I think in the same season Robyn made a questionable comment about Logan eating her leftovers.”

In another Reddit discussion, Sister Wives fans trace back when the food limiting would have occurred. Unmistakably, the frustration is mostly from Robyn Brown being stingy with food that was purchased with family money. Especially, since fans know Janelle was bending over backward to help the family. Someone says, “The horsesh*t of Janelle giving her savings to Robyn for Vegas and Flagstaff and the entire time Robyn won’t let Janelle’s kids eat ‘her food’…” Then, they add, “Besides the obvious infuriating details of these transactions between Janelle and Robyn, I think it’s so indicative that Robyn was never a good fit to join an established polygamous family.”

Further, the user adds, “When you pair this timeline detail about Janelle’s kids being scolded for eating Robyn food with Robyn forcing MSWC on everyone as the family business, and she’s just hemorrhaging their money.
