Jesse Palmer Shares Thoughts On ‘Golden Bachelor In Paradise’
Jesse Palmer successfully took over as host of Bachelor Nation after Christ Harrison left. He shared his thoughts on a possible Golden Bachelor In Paradise. Keep reading to find out what he thinks.
Fans Want Golden Bachelor In Paradise
Bachelor Nation fans first pitched the idea of a Golden Bachelor In Paradise spinoff during Gerry Turner’s season of The Golden Bachelor. Of course, it wasn’t really an option at the time since there were only Gerry’s rejected contestants as possible cast members of a senior version of BIP.
But now that Joan Vassos’ season of The Golden Bachelorette is airing, fans are again demanding a spinoff featuring her rejected suitors and Gerry’s cast-offs. Joan has only eliminated ten suitors so far, but we’re only two episodes into her season.
Jesse Palmer Shares Thoughts On Possible Spinoff
ABC has yet to share any plans for a Golden spinoff of Bachelor In Paradise. In fact, the regular version of the beachy spinoff didn’t air this year at all. The network plans to bring it back bigger and better next year for Season 10.
Despite ABC’s lack of response, fans keep talking about it. Joan Vassos’ contestant Jack Lencioni shared if he would join the spinoff if it happens. Bachelor Nation host Jesse Palmer was also asked about it by TV Insider. He told the outlet that he loves the idea and would be down for hosting it.
“I am all for Golden Paradise. I think that’d be great,” the former NFL player said. BIP bartender Wells Adams said last year that he would love to see it. In fact, Jesse and Wells have similar ideas for how to make BIP more accommodating for seniors.
While Wells Adams suggested Florida as a possible location instead of Mexico, Jesse disagrees. “It would have to be somewhere tropical, maybe with air conditioning. That probably would be a good idea for this group,” he joked.
He said fans should keep manifesting the idea to make it happen. “I’m all about manifestation. I believe that would be so much fun to have the cast from Gerry’s season and the Golden ladies matching up with this cast of guys from Joan’s season. I just think would be magic.”
ABC also confirmed a new season of The Bachelor in 2025 starring Jenn Tran’s contestant Grant Ellis. With The Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise airing next year, a Golden BIP spinoff might not fit into the schedule, but do you hope Golden Bachelor In Paradise happens at some point?
