Sasha Farber Praises Jenn Tran Amid DWTS Mishap
Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber received a 19 out of 30 for their first dance. They returned to the dance floor for Oscar night earlier this week. The duo performed a Tango to the song “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)” by Fergie, Q-Tip & GoonRock from The Great Gatsby reboot starring Leo DiCaprio. But their routine got off to a bad start immediately.
The music was delayed at the beginning of the dance, but she rallied and did a great job recovering from the mishap. Sasha Farber gushed to E! News about the reality star keeping her cool during the technical difficulties.
“When the dance started, there was no music, it cut off. Yet [Jenn Tran] still stayed in time and still did the full dance. It didn’t faze her like anyone else.”
He added that other celebrity contestants, and even professional dancers, in the same situation might stop the performance because of the sound issue. But not Jenn Tran. He added, “She stayed in time with no music, ran down the stairs, and we picked up at exactly the right timing.”
The judges knew what happened but didn’t give Jenn any extra points for her poise. The DWTS couple again received a 19 out of 30 for their second dance. Despite the scoring, they were safe from elimination for at least another week.
