Michael is currently raising some eyebrows due to the actions he’s taken since his split with Angela. One of them was the GoFundMe that he left open despite reaching its goals. The 90 Day Fiance star only asked for $25,000 to hire an attorney, which he received in just a couple of days. However, he kept the fundraiser running and reached over $50,000. This created speculation that Michael was using the donation money for other purposes.

Aside from the cheating allegations, Michael also took the opportunity to address the issue regarding his fundraiser. According to the 90 Day Fiance star, the speculation that he used the donation money for personal purposes is “absolutely untrue.” He then added that his account was temporarily frozen due to an alleged report received, including one from a person who allegedly lives in Hazelhurst, Georgia, where Angela lives.
Michael Ilesanmi later revealed that he wouldn’t be participating in any interviews revolving around his legal battles with Angela Deem. But he said that he’s now accepting bookings for appearances. This raised some suspicions about Michael’s true motives. Several commenters from Madzie’s YouTube video were also skeptical about his claims. Some even believe Madzie provoked Michael to release a statement, seemingly forcing him to do damage control.
- “I don’t and will never support either one of them nor do I believe anything that they say. I think they both used each other to be on and stay on the show and to get to America.”
- “Yes Madzie it’s thanks to you we got this.. Michael realized he had to give us something. You really woke him up. Good job.”
- “This guy is a total scammer. Women need to wake up and stop feeling sorry for this guy. He played the long game and as soon as he got to the States we see his true motives.”
- “This looks like a free publicity stunt. All I can see is Michael’s management promoting for him to get bookings. I’ll wait for evidence to be shown before I believe anything.”
