‘DWTS’ Tori Spelling’s Five Children Attend First Performance
Tori Spelling shared that her kids are her number one supporters in her journey on Dancing With The Stars. Tori Spelling Shares Snapshot With Her 5 Kids After Show
On Tuesday, Tori Spelling took to Instagram to share her “why” for joining Dancing With The Stars. She posted a photo of herself alongside her five children. Liam, 17, Stella, 16, Hattie, 12, Finn, 12, and Beau, 7, all posed for a picture with their mom after her show.
In the caption, the 51-year-old doted on her children. Tori wrote, “Here’s my WHY… My 5 babies coming to see me perform LIVE on DWTS! Showing my kids that at any point or age you can push past your fears and believe in yourself!”
She continued, stating that DWTS has been one of the hardest and most rewarding experiences of her life so far. “I danced to my personal anthem ‘Trust Fall’ with my amazing partner @pashapashkov. I’ve never had any dance experience, training, or lessons. I do not workout {except hustling and taking care of 5 kiddos} and I have a huge fear of performing in front of an audience.”
Despite all of these things, Tori Spelling is “doing it.” She’s put aside her fears and is doing everything she can to perform her best on this season of the dance competition. “The ballroom is my therapy. Having the time of my life,” she wrote on Instagram.
Tori pointed out that her younger self would be proud. She then thanked Dancing With The Stars for the opportunity to step out of her comfort zone.
Fans cheered her on in the comment section. One person wrote, “Shannen [Doherty] would have been so proud you took this giant leap. She’s with you on this journey.” Fellow competitor Chandler Kinney commented, “YES TORI!!!! and you SHINED out there!!!” Actress Elisa Donovan joined in, cheering, “You GO, GIRL!!!”
The 90210 Alum Turned Down DWTS Several Times
Earlier this month, Tori Spelling spoke about being cast on DWTS on her “misSPELLING” podcast. The 90210 alum said, “I got multiple calls over the last previous 32 seasons. Maybe in fact, 32 calls.”
The actress always came up with another reason why she couldn’t do it. “Every season I [watched it], and I was like, ‘Good for her [or] for him. Oh, god. I wish I was brave enough to do it,'” she admitted.

Even though it’s far outside her comfort zone, Tori Spelling decided to take the leap and do the show.
Dancing With The Stars airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
