‘The View’ Chelsea Clinton Becoming A Host In The Future?

Sunny Hostin Could Be Leaving The View
Hillary Clinton was recently a guest on The View. Following her visit, many people have started talking about the possibility of her daughter, Chelsea Clinton joining the cast of the daytime talk show.
The day the former U.S. Secretary of State was on, The View kicked off with a rather erratic Sunny Hostin. During Whoopi Goldberg’s opening monologue, Sunny interrupted the live show with her cell phone in her hand. She went on to explain that she needed to make herself available to her kids, even if it was during the live taping of the talk show.
As fans know, Sunny is having a hard time adjusting to her kids being away at college. With her chaotic behavior recently, many people are wondering if this will be her last year on The View.
Actually, there are three ladies whose contracts are up for renewal this year. Sunny, Whoopi and Joy Behar could all potentially leave after this season. Because any one of them could be leaving, many fans are wondering who might replace them.
One person who came to mind for many people was Hillary Clinton’s daughter Chelsea.
Fans Weigh In On Chelsea Clinton Joining The View
A fan of The View took to Reddit to discuss the possibility of Chelsea joining the regular cast. They asked if anyone else got the feeling that they might be bringing Chelsea on as a regular host soon. “I got the vibe her guest hosting the other day was maybe an audition for her,” the person suggested.
“I agree. I think it’s coming that Chelsea is at the table,” one fan commented. “I wouldn’t mind her on there, I think she’s a really good person and very intelligent,” another chimed in.
A few more people agreed that it seems like they’re setting up Chelsea Clinton to take a spot on The View, but they aren’t excited about it. One Reddit user said that she bores them to tears and another plainly stated they didn’t like the idea.
Several people had their doubts though. One person wrote, “I could imagine her being a more regularly featured guest or fill-in host, but not a full timer. The View is a big commitment and Chelsea probably has so many other things going on in her life.”
Another agreed, “I could see Chelsea doing it as a once a week thing since she does live in New York.” A third didn’t think Chelsea was there to take on a spot on the panel at all. They wrote, “She was promoting a movie she produced with her mom. It’s not that deep.”
