Mark Cuban’s ‘Shark Tank’ Replacement Officially Announced
Mark Cuban announced he was leaving Shark Tank. Many fans wondered who would replace Cuban, one of the popular reality TV series’s fan-favorite investors. While the production was non-committal for a while, the network finally named who would step into Cuban’s seat.
Daniel Lubetzky will be the new shark on the series, and here is what you need to know.
Daniel Lubetzky Replaces Mark Cuban On Shark Tank
Mark Cuban announced he was leaving Shark Tank and that Season 16 would be his final season on reality TV. The biggest question was who would replace him. The show kept its other investors, including Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, and Kevin O’Leary. Cuban will also be back for his last season.
However, the show is bringing in a new investor to get acclimated and be ready to take over for Cuban when the billionaire steps away. Lubetzky is the first new regular shark on the show in over 10 years. With Cuban still around for one more season, there will be more of a rotation, but it will give Lubetzky a chance to find his groove before he takes a more prominent spot in the next season.

Who Is Daniel Lubetzky on Shark Tank?
Daniel Lubetzky is not new to Shark Tank. He served as a guest shark in Seasons 11 through 15. In his previous appearances, Lubetzky invested in Yellow Leaf Hammocks, FitFighter, Tandm Surf, Toast-It, and HummViewer.
Daniel Lubetzky is an American billionaire who founded the snack company Kind LLC. As a child, Daniel moved to the United States from Mexico and graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. He studied abroad in Israel and France and earned his Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School.
Lubetzky discovered a sun-dried tomato product in 1994 that was the foundation for PeaceWorks. He launched Kind Snacks in 2003, which provides healthy snacking choices. By 2015, it was the fastest-growing snack company in the United States. He sold Kind Snacks to Mars.
In 2010, he co-founded Maiyet, a luxury fashion venture in developing economic countries meant to help promote self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship. In 2018, he founded Equilibra, a company that backs entrepreneur-run businesses that offer packaged goods to consumers.
