Brittany Cartwright Reveals If She’ll Date Amid Jax Divorce

It’s not even been a month after filing divorce from Jax Taylor after five years of marriage. Yet, The Valley star Brittany Cartwright has revealed whether or not she’s open to dating again.

Is Brittany Cartwright Dating Anyone?

The reality star recently spoke about her relationship status and revealed that she is currently single. But, she did clarify that getting back out there isn’t exactly off of the table.

“I would date again, I’m not opposed to dating, but I don’t want a boyfriend right now,” she explained. “I’m keeping my options open.”

It’s unclear whether “right now” is referring to her possibly wanting to wait until the Jax divorce is finalized before settling down with someone new. Or, if she’s just simply not ready to get into another relationship right now.

Speaking of Jax, Cartwright also teased that the upcoming season of The Valley will feature the downfall of their relationship as a couple. “You’ll see why I had to do what I had to do,” she shared.

Fans Don’t Want Brittany To Date

Fans are happy that Brittany is divorcing from Jax. But, most don’t feel like she is ready to get back in the dating scene just yet.

In a Reddit thread, fans shared their opinion that she should take a second to focus on herself and her son Cruz instead of her love life. Here are a few of the comments:

Brittany needs to grow up and get her priorities straight, and as long as she goes from man to man, it’ll never happen.

• “I hope she stays single, stops drinking, fixes her health, and gets her child the help he deserves.”
• “I think anyone who gets out of a long relationship, especially a marriage, should be single for a while tbh.”
• “Brittany hasn’t publicly addressed her fanbase’s concerns yet.”

Is Jax Dating Anyone?

Before the couple were officially in the divorce process, Jax made it clear that their separation was taking a toll on him. In fact, he made a claim that it ruined the future of his love life.

“Even if things don’t work out between Brittany and I, I will never, ever date or be married again,” he shared.

Right after making this statement, he was rumored to be in a relationship with model Paige Woolen.

The two were seen out together multiple times. There was even a situation where Paige publicly joked that she was pregnant while she and Jax were at an event together.

Taylor later denied that anything was going on between the two of them. He hasn’t been pictured with Paige or any other girl since.
