‘Bachelorette’ Devin Strader Breaks Silence On Restraining Order, Arrest
Bachelorette winner Devin Strader has been in the spotlight lately and not for good things. After he dumped Jenn Tran, he made a lengthy video and shared private text messages between them. He later deleted it and tried to apologize. That blew up in his face as well. Then, his past surfaced which revealed a prior arrest, DWI and a restraining order. On Thursday, Devin broke his silence on the allegations against him. What did he have to say? Keep reading to find out more.
Devin Strader Breaks Silence On Restraining Order
Bachelorette Jenn Tran’s final rose winner Devin Strader broke his silence about the restraining order filed against him in 2017. Previous reports have revealed that Devin was arrested on burglary charges after being accused of breaking and entering into his ex’s apartment.
On Thursday he posted an Instagram Story about the information circulating about him. He began by saying, “Following my time on The Bachelorette, there have been many stories and misrepresentations put out in the media that I want to take a moment to address.”
Devin went on to say, “I want to apologize for the video I released following the final episode. I am not proud of that lapse in judgment.” He continued, “I am truly grateful for my time on the show, and for getting the chance to know and love Jenn. I certainly regret hurting her in any way. She is a very special person, and I wish her nothing but good things.”
In the surfaced reports, his ex even accused him of spitting on her and holding her in a chokehold while covering her mouth. In response to that Devin said, “The accusations are simply not true as I have never inappropriately laid hands on another individual or treated my ex-girlfriend in any of the ways I have been depicted. That restraining order was never granted, and fully dismissed.”
Devin Alleges He And Ex Got Back Together
Devin Strader went on to say that he and his ex-girlfriend ended up getting back together. They of course later ended things for good. He said it was his first love and he learned a lot from that relationship.
He said that he knows he’s not perfect and is working on himself to be a better person that his friends and family can be proud of.
