‘Golden Bachelor’ Ladies Share Sweet Messages To Joan Vassos
The first season of The Golden Bachelor didn’t end in lasting love after Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist split up after three months of marriage. However, the ladies made forever friendships during their time in the Bachelor mansion. Several of the senior women shared sweet messages to Joan Vassos ahead of the Golden Bachelorette premiere.

Joan Vassos wasn’t on The Golden Bachelor long but she made a huge impression. Viewers loved her so much that the network chose her to headline the first-ever Golden Bachelorette. Even in her brief time, she formed close friendships with the other women.
The spinoff finally premieres tonight (Wednesday, September 18) and some of Joan’s close friends shared sweet messages for her. Golden Bachelor alum Kathy Swarts posted a video on Instagram of short clips from some of the other women. Besides Kathy, Leslie Fhima, Theresa Nist, Nancy Hulkower, Faith Martin, Susan Noles, and Natascha Hardee.
Each of the women sent love to Joan and assured that that they will be watching the premiere. Nancy Hulkower said she “hopes and prays” for Joan to find the second love of her life. Joan’s husband of over 30 years passed away from cancer in 2021.
Kathy Swarts joked that she has nothing else on her schedule for tonight. Susan Noles said she wished they could all be together to watch the premiere. Susan previously revealed that she will be one of the Golden Bachelor alums who makes a cameo on Joan’s season.

One viewer admitted in the comments that Gerry Turner’s season damaged their enjoyment of the show. They wrote, “I gotta be honest, after the first build up to a disaster, I’m a little skeptical this time around,” but added that they would give Joan’s season a chance.

What about Gerry Turner? Will he watch the Golden Bachelorette tonight? He didn’t share anything about Joan recently on social media. But he’s been on a massive road trip that recently stopped in Wisconsin.
He previously gave Joan some advice going into the Golden Bachelorette. Not that anyone would take advice from him. But he advised her to make the most of her time with the men on the show.
