After earning the Bronze medal in Paris this summer and winning the hearts of internet users everywhere, “Pommel Horse Guy” can’t wait to take on a new challenge. His real name is Stephen Nedoroscik and he’s competing with Rylee Arnold on Dancing With The Stars Season 33.

“Pommel Horse Guy” Stephen Nedoroscik Can’t Wait To Dance On TV

On premiere night, Rylee and Stephen will perform a Jive to “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. As DWTS fans know, the Jive is a routine that requires a lot of quick footwork.

“Pommel Horse Guy” is known for his Herculean upper body strength. Now, he will have to prove that he’s quick on his feet too.

In a new interview, Stephen Nedoroscik admitted he’s up for the challenge. He doesn’t show off his legs often and he’s delighted for the opportunity.

“I’m excited to get it, you know? I don’t use these at all,” the gymnast joked in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly. “So it’s about time they get the spotlight.”

Ballroom dance is a brand new world for the Olympian, but he’s excited to give it a try. He has plenty of fans and loved ones cheering him on from home.

“I have multiple family members who Dancing With the Stars is their favorite show of all time, and they’re so excited — especially excited because I’m paired with Rylee, and they love her,” Stephen continued. “Rylee is the GOAT. But anyways, they’re so excited to fly down and watch some shows.”

Nedoroscik Loves Sharing The Stage With Another Olympic Athlete

Stephen Nedoroscik feels thrilled to share the stage with a fellow Olympian, Rugby player Ilona Maher. Although they were in Paris together, they actually never met until DWTS.

“Surprisingly, we didn’t have any crossover. I think both of us were just so locked into our competitions that it wasn’t a social event for us,” Stephen shared. “But now meeting each other here, we got to talk a lot and she’s so cool. She’s hilarious, too.”
