Ripa Reveals Surprising Reason Her Kids Have Her Blocked On Social Media
It turns out, things are not always as harmonious as Kelly Ripa would like. According to the mother of three, her adult children regularly block her on social media for a surprising reason. According to Kelly, she recently dished that her kids have no problem removing her from their social media from time to time.
Kelly Ripa said: “Usually, if I comment on one of the two of their social media posts, I will get a temporary blocking. Then, the ban gets lifted and I’m reinstated. But I’m like, ‘Why can’t you guys be like the other kids on social media? They happily allow their parents in there.'”
Family On Social Media Can Be Tricky
Even for people who are not in the spotlight, managing family on social media can be tricky. Various relatives often have different belief systems or political leanings, and this can often cause tension between family members.
In this case, it looks like Kelly Ripa’s kids give her the boot every once in a while when she reaches a certain threshold. However, at least they eventually come back around and let her back in.
Overall, Kelly Ripa seems to be a good sport about the whole thing. Mark Consuelos previously weighed in on the situation as well, talking more specifically about his children and managing their lives in the spotlight: “Each kid, through different periods of time in their lives, go through a stage like, ‘Don’t talk about us or I’d rather not be a subject. We respect that.”
