‘Welcome To Plathville’ Kids Bashed For ‘Terrible Singing Voices’
The Welcome to Plathville family prides themselves in the music they make together. However, it seems like fans have something else to say about their talents. Keep reading to find out what they are saying about the family.
Welcome to Plathville kids can’t sing?
Ever since Welcome to Plathville first aired, the family has made it clear that they love music. They had a family band and now, Moriah Plath even performs and records music. However, after Moriah and Ethan sang a song together during one of the recent episodes, fans were shocked by what they heard. Now, they are asking why the children think they can sing.
“Who in the Sam Hill told these Plath kids they could sing? Holy Cringe!” one person writes on Reddit.
Others join in saying that they think children are ‘terrible’ at singing.
“They all have terrible singing voices,” one person says.
“Literally thinking the same thing as I’m watching Moriah and Ethan singing in this last episode,” another responds.
Despite all the hate, one Reddit user points out that the family might just need some more professional training. They also note that the could use the worst takes as well.
“I think they’re pretty good actually, they could use some more professionals to work with but I don’t think production pays them enough for the good ones. It’s probably more entertaining to watch them sound a little rough, they probably use the worst takes too,” they write.
Fans will just have to listen to Moriah’s recorded music and decide for themselves if they think she is talented.

Is it all Kim’s fault?
So if not professional training, where did the children learn to sing? It seems that Kim Plath is the one who taught them how to use their voices as she is the one who taught them to play instruments and how to dance.
“Kim got a degree in music while at university, and taught her kids to play different instruments. I assume she taught them how to sing as well,” one person writes.
However, many fans don’t think she is truly qualified to be an arts teacher considering she didn’t finish college. They think this is likely why the kids think they can sing when they can’t.
“She didn’t even graduate, she dropped out 😂,” someone else responds.
