‘Bachelorette’ Devin Strader Makes Apology, Then Deletes, Why?
Devin Strader has been trying hard to repair the damage done to his character following his split from Bachelorette Jenn Tran. He made a video over ten minutes long only to modify it later following fan backlash. He also shared an apology for the first video on Instagram Stories which he also quickly deleted. Devin Strader Apologized, Then Deleted
Devin Strader had been fairly quiet since The Bachelorette After the Final Rose aired last week. As Jenn Tran sobbed on stage, fans were not happy with Devin and how they believed everything went down.
After hearing his name trashed over and over he decided to make a video to prove he isn’t the only one at fault. He wanted fans to know that there are two people in a relationship and she admitted they were having problems too.
So, along with his lengthy explanation, Devin released tons of personal text messages between him and Jenn. Some appeared to have a sexual tone which he blacked out on some of them. However, fans slammed him for being tacky and disrespectful.
After the initial backlash, Devin issued an apology on Instagram Stories. A screenshot was grabbed before he deleted it. He began by saying he was deeply sorry for showing “sensitive” information. He claims his only intention was to show the relationship from his perspective.
Devin continued to say, “I gain nothing from that text conversation being shown. I promise you that was as mistake.”
He also said he tried to sensor personal or sensitive information. He continued saying he missed one and obviously f*cked up. Devin also said there was no intention to show that text and he is deeply sorry. He hopes fans will forgive him.
He Deleted All Videos
Devin Strader altered the first video he posted to take out some of the texts included. However, a lot of personal texts were still revealed.
Now, he has deleted the videos altogether. Devin continued to get backlash for his message. He said he was not trying to talk bad about Jenn at all. He only wants his side of the story to be out there.
In the videos, he also addressed all the drama involving Maria Georgas. Devin confirmed that he unfollowed her and will never follow her again. He has also never met her.
