Katie Thurston is not happy with ABC after Jenn Tran’s emotional season of The Bachelorette. Neither are fans. It seems that production did not do a good job when it came to giving Jenn a fair shot. Jenn Tran’s Season Set Up To Fail

Jenn Tran’s season was set up to fail. She was so excited for her journey. Jenn was the first Asian-American Bachelorette. This was something she was excited to bring to the table. However, the producers did not do her justice. Jenn had to stand up for herself a lot with the men in the house. Sam McKinney even admitted that he thought it was going to be Maria Georgas or Daisy Kent. This rubbed Jenn the wrong way as she thought he was there for her.

Katie Thurston is not happy with ABC. She had a lot to say in a Q&A.

“I didn’t watch but I heard a lot. Whether Jenn agreed or not, mistakes were made not only at the finale, but throughout her entire season. It’s interesting how there isn’t a statement from the EP’s or the franchise issuing an apology or how they intend to do better going forward. They are getting major press and not in a good way. The silence is loud. Time to take responsibility and stop hiding behind your talent to save face. Mistakes happen. Mistakes were made. Own up to them. Your silence is loud.”

This may be information that she is relaying from things she has heard. Regardless, fans agree and think an apology is owed. Jenn is now single and the experience did not work for her.

It seems that Katie thinks ABC owes Jenn and the viewers an apology. Other fans agree with what she had to say about it. Jenn was set up for failure from the beginning. A lot of the problem was some of the guys thought they were signing up for Daisy or Maria and that was not the case. This caused a lot of friction.
