‘DWTS’ Val Chmerkovskiy & Jenna Johnson Face Tough Loss
The talented professional dancers on Dancing With The Stars are often recognized for their brilliant choreography. It’s not at all uncommon to see them at the Emmys, eagerly awaiting their chance to win the trophy for themselves. Winning the Mirrorball Trophy is one thing, but having an Emmy is something entirely different. Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy hoped to receive their own Emmy this year.
Val Chmerkovskiy & Jenna Johnson Recognized For Their Len Goodman Tribute
DWTS fans knew Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson would likely receive award nominations for their Len Goodman tribute last year. They received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Choreography for Variety or Reality Programming.
Sadly, they didn’t win.
“We didn’t win tonight, but what an honor it was to be in that room. Congrats to Karla Garcia and to all of the nominees. Till next time 🏆 #emmys,” Val captioned his Instagram post. “Also, I just love you so much @jennajohnson ❤️ my trophy, my joy, my peace. Wanted this for you more than anything. But we’ll do it again.”
“Art is endless.. let’s keeping making it 💘💘” Jenna replied in the comments.
