It was always unclear how Josh Efird made his money as he never had a stable job. No one really knew what he did for work but he has recently started showing off his more creative side. His now estranged wife, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird has been on reality television for over a decade so there’s that income. She also has a social media presence and launched The Sisters Closet with her siblings, Alana Thompson and Jessica Shannon. It has gotten so big that she has gotten a warehouse plus she has numerous endorsement deals.

Now that Pumpkin and Josh are getting into the nitty gritty legal aspect of their divorce, more will come out about the couple. One of the biggest will be how much the couple is worth and earns. According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, the former couple’s monthly income has been revealed and it is quite shocking. The reason this was exposed is due to the child support worksheets they needed to fill out to continue their divorce proceedings on Wednesday, September 4th. Per Pumpkin, she shared that they both bring in $20K per month. That would mean they make $480K per year which is a decent chunk of change.

It is unclear how that works if it is from the show, residuals, appearances, social media, or other means but it is a lot as one may expect Pumpkin to clear more. For four children, the amount of child support that would suffice per month would be $6168 but Pumpkin wants them to split the cost. This is a monetary shift from even a year ago when Pumpkin was struggling to pay for her car. She previously claimed her cabinets were empty but Aunt Doe Doe Shannon came to the rescue.

Moving On

Though Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird and Josh Efird were together for nearly a decade and married for six, she has wasted no time moving on with her life. It was alleged that she had been unfaithful and then it came out she was dating Josh’s cousin, Darrin Kitchens. More than that, the two supposedly hooked up after Josh and Darrin’s grandma passed away in April 2024. That seemed to be the end of Josh and Pumpkin. She and Darrin have traveled and attended concerts with him being embraced by her family. As for Josh, he was seeing a pregnant woman named Keely. Her baby daddy was none other than Darrin but that has since crumbled.
