Country superstar, Keith Urban has just suffered a tragic death and it has impacted his whole family. The former American Idol judge is getting ready to release his new album on September 20th. Keith Urban Suffers Tragic Death
The one thing about Keith Urban is that he is very passionate about his family. He married Nicole Kidman in 2006 after she divorced Tom Cruise and together, they had two children. They have two daughters, their first was born in 2008 and the second arrived two years later. She has been by his side through whatever he needed and they have had a love story that is so beautiful. Her marriage to Tom Cruise appeared glamorous but it was all for show. They adopted two children and then, it ended in divorce. Yet, when Nicole and Keith got together, it seemed like the puzzle pieces fit.
On Saturday, September 7th, Nicole was at the Venice Film Festival. She was set to accept an award for Best Actress for the film Babygirl when she got the most devastating news. According to Page Six, Nicole’s mother, Janelle had died which caused Keith’s wife to exit abruptly. Halina Reijn, who directed Babygirl, accepted the award on behalf of Nicole. She wrote a statement explaining she had gotten to Venice but quickly learned that her “beautiful, brave mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, has just passed.”

Keith Urban’s wife went on to add:
“I’m in shock and I have to go to my family, but this award is for her. She shaped me, she guided me and she made me. I am beyond grateful that I get to say her name to all of you through Halina. The collision of life and art is heartbreaking, and my heart is broken.”
Nicole Kidman’s rep had this to say on behalf of everyone in the family:
“The family is heartbroken and asks for privacy at this time.”
An Idol
Keith Urban’s mother-in-law was an idol in her own right. Nicole Kidman recalled how her mother and grandmother loved fashion and even knew how to create it. That was where Nicole’s passion started to bloom and she has always praised these ladies for the influence they played in her life. Fans have already sent condolences out to the actress:
