‘Price Is Right’ Fans Mock Show’s ‘Hardest’ Game

The Price is Right is preparing to return for a new season. As it prepares to return, the game show has been posting videos from the past. One of these videos has fans mocking the show for the narrator’s words during the clip. In the clip, the narrator describes the game it is showing as one of the hardest in the entire series.

Here is a look at the game and what fans said about the actual hard games.

What Game Does The Price Is Right Consider The Hardest?

The new video clip has the narrator saying that a woman is about to play the hardest game on The Price is Right. He asks, “Can she beat one of the hardest Price Is Right games?” The game is the Grand Game.

The rules are simple. In Grand Game, the player has several items in front of them. They then have to determine which items cost under $10. A zero is added to the total winnings for each one they get right. It starts at $1. If they get one right, it is now $10. A second makes it $100. The last two will make it $1,000 and $10,000.

However, if the person misses, they win nothing. They can stop at any time, take the winnings, and leave. In this game, the woman chose the Tang drink mix and sardines, which were under $10. She then chose a remover spray, which cost $8.99. She was now at $1,000.

Drew Carey offered her a chance to leave with $1,000. She didn’t want to quit, so she ignored the audience and guessed the Olay Age-Defying Cleanser. It cost $7.59, so she won the $10,000. It didn’t seem too hard, and fans wondered why this was considered a hard game:

  • “That’s not a hard game! Let’s talk about the probability of winning temptation. Or the probability of winning more than $11,500 on plinko”
  • “Since when did Grand Game become one of the hardest games on the Price is Right. I think it’s a great game, pretty easy if you don’t overthink it!”
  • “The Game is Easy To me”

When Is The Price Is Right Back On TV?

The Price is Right has been around for over 50 years. When it returns, Season 53 will see Drew Carey back for another round, as he has been hosting it since Bob Barker retired from the game show. However, many fans feel there needs to be something different to keep it entertaining.

However, for now, it seems nothing is changing. The Price is Right returns to TV on September 23.
