Devin Strader Dumped Jenn Tran Over The Phone
Jenn Tran’s Bachelorette season reached a very dramatic conclusion earlier this week. Fans correctly guessed that she proposed to her final rose winner, Devin Strader. But what fans didn’t see coming was the revelation that Devin and Jenn broke up a month ago.
She revealed during a chat with Jesse Palmer that things changed after they left Hawaii and her then-fiance stopped communicating with her. She said that he ended their engagement in a phone call instead of in person.
Jenn Tran also dropped the shocking news that he disrespected her the very next day by following Maria Georgas on Instagram. Devin didn’t really explain his behavior except to say that he regretted getting engaged.
Bachelorette Cameras Cut To Rachel Recchia
Rachel Recchia was among the Bachelor Nation alums in the studio audience. The cameras kept cutting to her reaction. She was caught whispering with Tayshia Adams while footage aired of Jenn sending Marcus Shoberg home.

When Jenn revealed on stage that the relationship with Devin was over, Rachel was shown several times wiping tears away.
Compares Devin To Ex-Fiance Tino Franco
Rachel Recchia could relate to Jenn Tran’s heartbreak more than most. Her season of The Bachelorette also ended in engagements for her and co-lead Gabby Windey. Gabby’s relationship lasted a little longer than Rachel’s.
Like Jenn and Devin, Rachel and her fiance, Tino Franco, broke up shortly after filming their engagement. But Rachel had to break up with Tino off-camera. At least Jenn Tran was spared that indignity.
Rachel previously spoke out about Devin Strader’s red flags. She said on a July episode of the Almost Famous podcast that she saw a lot of similarities between Devin and Tino.
“I think there’s something about Devin that really throws up red flags for me because he reminds me a lot of Tino and this, like, winner mindset and this, ‘That’s my wife.’”
Another blatant red flag for Rachel was none of Jenn Tran’s other suitors liking Devin at all.
“You can kind of tell the other guys don’t really like him. So, that’s where it gives me pause … I look around [at the] guys and why do they all kind of not like Devin? That says something to me. I want the guy I end up with to get along with people.”
Rachel Recchia was right about Devin Strader, but she only had support for Jenn Tran. She shared a snapshot of Jenn Tran and declared justice for Jenn.
