Anna Delvey Shares What A ‘DWTS’ Victory Would Mean For Her
Dancing With The Stars fans felt shocked to hear con artist Anna Delvey was competing this year. Although the casting department enjoys promoting controversial figures, many viewers thought this was a step too far.
Her pro partner Ezra Sosa seems genuinely excited to have her in the cast. But after her recent revelation, many fans think he might regret having her around at all.
Anna Delvey Admits She Doesn’t Care About The Mirrorball Trophy
In a new interview, Anna Delvey revealed the Mirrorball Trophy doesn’t really mean anything to her. Entertainment Weekly asked about how she felt about winning.
“Nothing, really. I don’t know,” Delvey curtly replied. She started to laugh and then added, “It would be great.”
However, her dance partner is singing a different tune. This is Ezra Sosa’s first year as a full-time pro. A victory during his first season would be monumental.
“I’m obsessed with her,” Ezra said about his first partner. “For me, it’d mean a little bit more than that though, because I do love what I do and this show’s been my biggest dream.”

“She said if she won, she’d put it in storage,” the So You Think You Can Dance alum continued “But I’ll put mine on the mantle. I’ll make sure it gets some sunlight.”
DWTS Fans Wonder How She Can Compete With The Ankle Monitor
As many DWTS noticed during her debut on Good Morning America, Anna Delvey has an ankle monitor. Technically, she’s still under house arrest. So how can she even compete?
In another recent interview, Delvey assured everyone it’s perfectly legal. It’s just been a bit of a hassle.
“Well, [DWTS] approached my team and I had to request ICE for permission to travel out of state because it’s being filmed in Los Angeles and I’m based in New York,” the 33-year-old told PEOPLE. “It took them about 10 days to get it through the system and to get everything approved.”
“By the time I got the approval, it was very close to the starting day so I kind of flew to LA pretty much the next day and I just decided why not?” she added.
Ezra doesn’t believe the ankle monitor will be a problem for choreography. In fact, he says they may even bedazzle it.
