Justin Hartley Reveals What First Two Episodes Of Tracker Season 2 Will Focus On

Back in Tracker Season 1, viewers learned about Colter Shaw’s back story. Much of this story surrounded his father’s death and the assumption that his brother Russell was involved somehow. However, with each episode, Colter learned that there were many secrets.

One of those secrets is that his mother met someone in the woods the night before his father died. Why was he learning this now? Most of all, why did his mom tell Russell to keep that piece of information a secret?

Thankfully, the first two episodes of the new season will address some family issues.

Justin Hartley recently spoke to TV Insider about the first two episodes of the season. They both address the mysteries that still haunt Colter about his family. Justin shared that they go back a decade before. Colter is tasked with trying to find a missing sister, with the other sister unsure of what happened.

Colter is hired but he’s never been able to crack it and it haunts him. For the first time, we see this guy who is such a hero and always does the right thing, but wasn’t able to find the girl and bring her back.

Yet, he never let this one go. Moreover, this relates to his own family mystery.

Jensen Ackles Returns As Russell

For those Tracker who wonder about Russell, Jensen Ackles is back for the second episode of Season 2. Justin promises this episode will delve deeper into the Shaw “family thing.”

He starts off, “So, Russell comes back and Coulter’s got a couple of questions for him about this Dory situation and the box that she has and does Russell know where it is?”

Next, Hartley shares, “Russell’s also pretty heroic in Episode 2 and they get involved in this really black ops, kind of strange thing. And these government officials start asking about our dad out of the blue, and you’re like, ‘Whoa, what’s this all about?'”

Lastly, The Young and The Restless alum concludes, “So in every episode, Dad is becoming a little more vindicated maybe, or just maybe completely nuts. We don’t know. We dive a little deeper into that.”

Therefore, it sounds like Season 2 is going to be filled with more clues about Colter’s father.
