Gypsy Rose Blanchard Shares Photos Of ‘Sweet Baby Girl’
Most people know Gypsy Rose Blanchard‘s story by now. She served eight years in prison for her part in the murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. The internet has been divided on whether or not Gypsy deserves to be free. She was a victim of Munchausen by proxy and it is believed that years of abuse led to her planning out her mother’s murder.
Now, the ex-con is about to become a mother herself. Gypsy broke the news about her pregnancy on her YouTube channel on July 9. Since then, she has provided her followers with regular updates on her pregnancy. Updates have included everything from ultrasound appointments to her maternity wardrobe and books she is reading about parenting.
She took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the latest ultrasound pics of her “Sweet baby girl.”
In the caption, she wrote, “Our sweet baby girl for our 20 week ultrasound. She is growing and measuring beautifully.” The photos Gypsy shared included a close-up of the baby’s head, arms, and hands. On TikTok, she included an extra photo of a closeup of the little one’s foot.
What Does Gypsy Want Out Of Motherhood?
Gypsy Rose took to the comments to answer some of the questions her followers had. She revealed that her baby’s middle name is Alcida, a name which is supposed to signal strength.
The Lifetime star also shared that she has been feeling her baby girl kick. She described the feeling as “remarkable.”
Shortly after announcing her pregnancy, she opened up about what she expects out of motherhood. “All the things that I wanted in a mother, I want to give to this baby,” Gypsy Rose said. “My mother told me I was never going to get married, raise a family, have kids or do any of that. So, to be here, standing on my own two feet and expecting my first baby, that’s something I’ve reached as an achievement and a personal goal.”
More than that, Gypsy said that she sees her pregnancy and chance at motherhood as a “second chance at life” with a child of her own. “I want to be kind, that my kids come to me for any kind of advice, just like my stepmother [Kristy Blanchard]. I have seen how she has parented her children — and I think she’s a kick-ass mom,” she said.
While she has not revealed her due date, Gypsy Rose has shared that she is due sometime in early 2025.
