Why Isn’t A New Episode Of ‘Unexpected’ On Tonight?
Why isn’t a new episode of Unexpected on tonight, Monday, September 2nd? Holidays are not that big over at TLC so it does not have anything to do with Labor Day. Plus, the season ended with no real resolution therefore many fans may be wondering where the tell-all is. So, when will a new episode air, and what is on in its place instead? Why Isn’t A New Episode Of Unexpected On Tonight?
The last episode of Unexpected ended on a happy note but with very little resolve. Especially since the show was filmed a year and a half ago. Kayleigh and Graham were finally home from the hospital with their baby boy, Easton, after her emergency C-section. Yet, he seemed more worn out than she was. Her friends came by to say hi and meet Easton which was a reality check about being a teen mother. Graham could not wait to go home as he felt he had done enough but, in reality, he had done very little.
Jenna Ronan finally connected with Dalanie again after JJ was not too thrilled with their friendship. That was hard for Dalanie because she already experienced estrangement from Jenna when she was with Aden. A month went by and Dalanie was over the fairweather friendship. Jenna believed she was pregnant again and, sure enough, she was but JJ was actually thrilled about it. Lilly Bennett and Lawrence Bishop’s big day was upon them but she had a feminine emergency that she believed would ruin their day.

It went off beautifully and they had the most amazing ceremony and day. Then, the episode ended and fans wanted to know what was next. Unfortunately, there will be no tell-all, as revealed midseason and Unexpected fans are not happy:
- How could they leave us like that with no tell all!!
- Was episode 13 the last episode and now there’s no tell all? What a sad season.
Furthermore, viewers did not feel they got anything out of the ending:
- That would be so weird because they really didn’t conclude anything except the wedding
- Â It ended on a weird note with every other couple except Lilly and Lawrence.
So, the season is officially over.
When Will It Be Back?
Jenna Ronan made a TikTok the day of the Season 6 Unexpected finale and shared she was likely done with the show. More so, she did not even know if the show would be renewed so, at this point, the future is up in the air. As for what will be airing in its place, on September 2nd TLC will show 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. Unfortunately, that is how the future of Mondays looks but Unexpected can be streamed on MAX for those who want to catch up.
