Hallmark star Wes Brown is sharing a heartbreaking loss with his followers. The Haul Out the Holly actor has been known for his sweet holiday films. Plus, he did a bevy of notable television roles that have made him a fan favorite. Sadly, the holidays will be a little less sweet this year, and here are the details as to why.

Wes Brown has amassed a plethora of Hallmark fans thanks to the many movies that he has starred in. He makes the holiday season merry and bright. Not only was he in Haul Out the Holly and its sequel, Lit Up but also starred in Christmas at Graceland followed by Wedding at Graceland. As for television roles, Wes had bit parts in True Blood as Luke McDonald. He also guest-starred on Hart of Dixie and Deception. Yet, it is all of the Hallmark love that has kept him thriving for all of the years of his career.
The Hallmark Channel is very celebratory as it celebrates all seasons as well as every possible holiday in existence. Most of Wes’ films have been Christmas-themed and that brings an immense amount of joy to viewers. Unfortunately, he is experiencing a lot of sadness right now. The forty-two-year-old just revealed that his pup, Dixie, sadly passed away. He shared this news via Instagram along with a slide of photos. Dixie can be seen in solo shots as well as snuggling with the most important people in Wes’ life.

More so, she was named after his stint on Hart of Dixie and sadly passed away on August Thursday, August 8th. Wes Brown shared she was with him for thirteen years so inevitably, his heart is broken right now. However, his tribute to Dixie is absolutely beautiful and it resonated with everyone who saw it. So much so that the condolences and love just poured right in for Dixie, Wes, and the whole family.

After seeing the Hallmark star’s Instagram posting about Dixie having passed away, fans and friends immediately flocked to the comment section. They wanted Wes Brown to know how much they loved him and felt for what he was going through:
