The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo home has been remodeled and turned into a resource center. Mama June decided to take a swing by her old stomping grounds. Fans fell in love with Alana Thompson on Toddlers & Tiaras as she was a feisty go-getter who knew what she wanted. Her personality stood out which helped her and her family land their own series, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. It followed Alana and her parents, Mama June Shannon and Sugar Bear Thompson. There were also her three sisters: Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird (Shannon), and her pregnant eldest sister Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell. Anna became a teenage parent to Kaitlyn on the show and they lived in a home by the train tracks.
The family was offbeat and sometimes disturbing to viewers with their eating habits and the way Mama June lived. Yet, fans flocked to the series for four seasons because it was like a trainwreck they could not turn away from. It was canceled but the family has been able to keep their reality television fame going. They moved from TLC to WeTV and the drama has continued to ensue. Sadly, the OG Honey Boo Boo home has been turned into a resource center.

Mama June took fans by it after doing a meet and greet at Kaitlyn’s school, admitting there were so many memories there. Though it initially seemed like the renovations were done, there was still a lot to do. After seeing the old stomping ground, fans were sentimental:

Missing Anna
After fans saw the video of the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo home, they could not help but miss Anna Cardwell. She passed away from stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in December 2023. However, viewers remembered Anna being on the show and hating having to do her interviews as the train went by:
- This makes me said. I can see Anna standing out there talking and pausing with irritation in her voice yelling , “Train”💖 Thanks for sharing with us.
Some even suggested that June and her husband, Justin Stroud should have bought it. Hopefully, it brings a lot of joy and happiness while still remaining a tourist attraction.
