‘DWTS’ Artem Chigvintsev Arrest Reveals Paramedics Dispatched
Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Artem Chigvintsev is in trouble with the law. Reports surfaced on Thursday that he was arrested in Napa, California for domestic battery. Initial reports had very few details and did not reveal whom the assault was against. However, new details are surfacing about what happened early Thursday at their home. Artem Chigvintsev Arrested, New Details Emerge
Dancing With the Stars pro-Artem Chigvintsev was booked into the Napa, California jail Thursday morning. He was being held on an alleged domestic violence charge. Bail was set at $25,000. Reports later revealed that after being booked close to 10 AM, he was released around 2:30 PM PT.
At the time of the initial report, there were no details about what happened or who the assault involved. However, as the day went on, more was being shared with the public.
TMZ reported that 911 was called at about 8:30 AM to the residence where Artem was at. It is unclear at this time who made the phone call. However, a short time later as paramedics and fire rescue were en route, another 911 call came in and cancelled the medical assistance.
The paramedics and fire department did not go to the home. However, at about 10 AM Artem was arrested for felony corporal injury to spouse or cohabitant. It was noted that in order for police to make the arrest for a felony, the injury must be visible.
Artem is married to former WWE star Nikki Garcia or better known as Nikki Bella in the wrestling world.

Right now, there has been no confirmation if it was really Nikki who was the victim of the alleged assault. The extent of the injuries sustained has also not been shared by authorities.
They Just Celebrated An Anniversary
DWTS pro-Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Garcia just celebrated their wedding anniversary. They were both in Napa as confirmed by an Instagram post shared by Nikki on Wednesday.
The couple both gushed about one another on social media to celebrate two years of wedded bliss.
Artem and Nikki share a son, Matteo. There has even been talk of a second child.
They met when she appeared on Season 25 of Dancing With the Stars. Although at the time she was with WWE star John Cena, their relationship ended the following year.
