‘DWTS’ Pro Artem Chigvintsev Arrested For Domestic Violence
Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Artem Chigvintsev has reportedly been arrested for domestic violence. The arrest took place in Napa, California where he was booked into jail on Thursday morning. Keep reading to find out more.
DWTS Pro Artem Chigvintsev Arrested In California
TMZ reported on Thursday that Dancing With the Stars pro dancer Artem Chigvintsev was arrested and booked in Napa, California on complaints of a felony domestic violence charge.
Right now it is unclear if his wife WWE star Nikki Garcia has any involvement in what led to his arrest. However, she was in Napa with him and posted on Wednesday sharing about the facial she had done.
While the details behind the arrest are unclear it is important to say that she and him have been there together celebrating their anniversary.
He was booked into the jail at approximately 9:59 AM in California and bail was set at $25,000 bail. So far it is unclear if he posted bail and was released.
Celebrating Their Anniversary
Just three days ago Artem went to Instagram to share an anniversary post for her. He shared a wedding photo and said, “Happy anniversary my love , can’t see my life with out you. You are my everything ❤️”
Nikki also shared a sweet post about their anniversary. She shared their wedding video while playing the song “Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.”

The couple met in 2017 when they were paired together on Season 25 of Dancing With the Stars. When they met she was still with John Cena. However, their relationship ended in 2018.
Artem and Nikki didn’t go public with their relationship until March 2019 when they hard launched on Instagram.
They got engaged in November 2019, welcomed a son in July 2020 and said, “I do,” in August 2022.
There have even been rumors that perhaps another baby will be on the way soon.
