Joanna Gaines Reveals Something That Means The World To Her

While the busy mom of five is watching her kids start a new school year, she also shares something that means the world to her. Although nothing tops her kids, she is still passionate about her work. With the upcoming release of the Fall issue of Magnolia Journal, Joanna Gaines reveals an extraordinary space. She takes fans behind the scenes at their family farm to see a new addition.

On Instagram, Joanna shares, “Our fall issue is here! We got to photograph the cover in my new rose cottage at the farm.” Additionally, she takes fans inside saying, “This little space has come to mean so much to me, and I love the way we were able to weave the beauty of preserving flowers into this season’s theme.”

Furthermore, Joanna Gaines deeply feels that the space speaks a theme of “Attunement” for her. She says, “‘Attune‘ — this isn’t a word I use all that often, but it feels active and alive, careful and purposeful.” In a hectic world, Joanna lets the cottage be a reminder to slow down. She continues, “Like an invitation to take a breath, but also to take note of all the beauty and gratitude this season offers us.”

Breath Of Fresh Air

Earlier in the month, the issue was released. Joanna Gaines tells fans that the space was a potting shed for their rose garden. However, when Chip and Joanna dedicated time to renewing it, it became their “Rose Cottage.” Likewise, they use it to store tools but also press and preserve flowers. Additionally, Joanna says in the journal, “I want to preserve all that we’ve planted, cultivated, and reaped each season—to capture the wonder that captured us.” Further saying, “Recently, I decided to return to that decade-old rose garden and shed and give it a new purpose.”

Likewise, she explains, “I wanted it to serve as a dedicated place to do what my family and I have been doing for years: to press flowers as a way to pause, document, and savor what we’ve grown together.” But mostly, it serves as a reminder to Joanna to stop and breathe. She adds, “For me, it begins with pulling back in some areas at the office. Because the truth is, I love to work.”
