There are a lot of shakeups happening on Good Morning America right now. As everyone gets ready to move to a new studio soon, several fan-favorite cohosts have been replaced. Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and George Stephanopolous were all noticeably missing from GMA. Where are they? Keep reading to find out.

Three Fan-Favorite GMA Hosts Replaced This Week

All three anchors have taken plenty of time off recently, but they usually try to stagger their days off. However, viewers started this week off with all three fan-favorite GMA hosts missing. Robin, Michael, and George were replaced by Whit Johnson, Sade Baderinwa, and Gio Benitez.

Summer is coming to an end and it seems like the GMA anchors are using up their last bit of vacation time. Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and George Stephanopolous all seem to be taking some time away before the Labor Day holiday.

It has undoubtedly been a personally busy summer for each of the anchors. Michael Strahan faced some serious stress from his family. His daughter Isabella was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in October of 2023. She spent much of the year getting treatments and underwent three brain surgeries.

In July, Isabella announced that she was officially cancer-free. Her next checkup will be in October. For now, she’s headed back to the University of Southern California for her sophomore year. Michael and his ex-wife, Jean Muggli, joined her upon her return to USC.

George Stephanopolous & Robin Roberts Celebrate Milestones

George Stephanopolous has also celebrated some milestones with his wife, Ali Wentworth. The couple sent their youngest off to college. They share two daughters, Elliot, 21, and Harper, 19.

Elliot is kicking off her senior year at Brown University. She spent her junior year studying abroad in London. Harper, on the other hand, is headed to Vanderbilt University in Tennessee for her sophomore year.

Ali and George dropped Harper off at school last week. The GMA anchor’s wife shared a post on Instagram about the experience. She wrote, “Who doesn’t love college move-in day? No air-conditioning. Need a degree in engineering to assemble anything. Who needs a shower caddy? And now I’m crying cause I already miss her…”

Robin Roberts has celebrated some of her own personal wins over the summer as well. She and her wife Amber Laign celebrated the 19th anniversary of their first date.

The GMA anchor took to Instagram to remember the milestone. She wrote, “Ohhhh what a night! 19 years ago mutual friends Alex and Bert set us up on a blind date… One that the 2 of us had canceled several times! So glad we finally said yes…and then said I do. We wish all an equally #blessedweekend.”

They will be celebrating their first wedding anniversary on September 8.

All three GMA cohosts are expected to return within the next week or so.
