‘Teen Mom’ Tyler & Catelynn’s Daughter, Vaeda Unrecognizable

Tyler & Catelynn’s Kids Go Back To School
On Monday, August 26, Tyler Baltierra shared a photo of his daughters Novalee and Vaeda on Instagram. The sisters stood on the stairs in their home. Nova draped her arm around her younger sister, both of them smiling.
Vaeda wore a purple shirt that said “Hello Kindergarten” with black shorts and black sneakers. She also wore her hair up in two buns with pink ribbons. Nova seems to be going for more of an alternative look as she enters fourth grade.
She was wearing a t-shirt with a melted skull on it with blue jean shorts. Underneath her shirt, she wore fishnet sleeves and finished her outfit off with white sneakers. Her hair was pulled back and she wore her glasses.
Both girls looked ready for their first day of school. In the caption, the Teen Mom star wrote, “FIRST DAY of school & I can’t believe we have a 4TH GRADER & a kid in KINDERGARTEN! How can time be such a thief, while simultaneously being such a gift? My babies are growing up way too fast!”
Fans couldn’t believe how much the girls had grown up. “Nova is Tyler’s twin and Vaeda is Catelynn’s twin,” one Instagram user commented. Another fan wrote, “They both favor you to me,” speaking to Tyler Baltierra.
However, one thing Teen Mom fans really couldn’t get over is how much Vaeda has changed. Several people thought she could be a body double for one of the Olson twins. The photo was also shared to Reddit by a fan.
“Wow I didnt recognize Vaeda she has grown so much, both beauties,” a Reddit user commented. A number of other people agreed, pointing out how much she’d grown up.
Teen Mom Fans Question Tyler’s Posts
A few weeks ago, Teen Mom fans were slamming Tyler Baltierra for using Vaeda for likes on social media. He shared a clip of himself carrying her back to the car following a meeting about an IEP (individualized education program) at school.
In the video, Catelynn is crying and trying to deal with the reality of having a child with extra needs. The caption discussed talked about the process of getting an IEP through the school and how they planned to work with a pediatrician as well.
Many people felt like Tyler was exploiting Vaeda. “People don’t need to know this Tyler, stop exploiting your daughter’s private business for clicks,” one fan commented. Another concurred, “As Mom of neurodivergent children. This isn’t your information to share to the world Tyler, your children are individual human beings who deserve privacy and to trust that their parents won’t go spreading their business to the world.”
Now, Vaeda is on her way to her first day at kindergarten!

I don’t understand how anyone thinks Tyler is exploiting Vaeda. He and is family are on a reality tv show ! We see EVERY part of their life, good or bad. Well his daughter possibly having a learning disability is a part of their lives. There is no reason to hide that information as a lot of other parents have dealt with this same issue. IMO once you hide something it brings on a feeling of shame. And there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR ANY OF THEM TO FEEL ASHAMED OFF !! They are good parents and doing what they need to do to help their daughter !! People need to stop being so judgmental.
