‘Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Reveals Name For Her Alter Ego

Robyn Brown on Sister Wives confessional

Sister Wives fans are reacting to the name Robyn Brown has given her alter ego. She talked about the name in the book Becoming Sister Wives and fans think it is beyond cringy. Here is what the TLC star had to say about her alter ego and why she chose this specific name.

Robyn Brown’s Alter Ego Has A Name

Reddit user posted a screenshot of Becoming Sister Wives where Robyn Brown is discussing her alter ego. In the excerpt, Robyn said that at some point she realized that the only person she could truly rely on was herself. When she came to that realization, she invented an alter ego that would be her protector.

“Her name was She-Rah and she represented by tougher, bolder side,” she wrote. “Since no one would come to my rescue, I transformed part of me into my own superhero.” According to Robyn, “She-Rah” protected the more sensitive parts of herself.

Additionally, her alter ego helped her put up walls to protect herself from others. Her goal was to not ever fall for anyone’s tricks again.

In the post on Reddit, the OP wrote, “Ahh, I finally understand why Kody and Robyn’s home is referred to as the ‘She-Rah chateau.'”

Other Sister Wives fans were eager to comment on the cringe-worthy excerpt from the book. “She-Rah is so powerful that she just crumbles into tears at any perceived criticism,” one person laughed in the comments.

Another Sister Wives fan wrote, “I think this is the cringiest thing I’ve ever read in my life.” A third agreed, stating they had “secondhand embarrassment” for Robyn. “Is She-Rah in the room with us Robyn?” a fourth person joked, while a fifth commented, “You couldn’t waterboard this information out of me.”

Sister Wives Fans Think Robyn Loves Playing The Victim

One person pointed out that Robyn seems to have a “victim mentality,” even in this excerpt of the book. She said that no one would come to her rescue. However, multiple people in the comments point out that she’s been rescued quite a bit.

Robyn’s ex-husband’s family gave her around $30,000 to pay off her debt. Then, only a year after they split up, she married Kody Brown and joined the Sister Wives family.

Kody and Robyn were spiritually married in 2010. Sister Wives fans watched as she joined the Brown family as the fourth wife of Kody. Eventually, he legally divorced Meri Brown to get hitched in the eye of the law with Robyn. After that, the family really started to unravel.

More focus was placed on Robyn’s children and Kody’s relationship with her rather than the other wives. Oftentimes, Robyn would come to a confessional on the TLC show with crocodile tears in her eyes, but fans wonder where “She-Rah” was then.

Sister Wives Season 19 premieres on September 15 at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
