Bachelorette Fans Think Marcus Shoberg Isn’t That Into Jenn Tran
Devin Stader is the clear frontrunner to win Jenn Tran’s heart. Season 21 of The Bachelorette began with 22 men who hoped to find love with Jenn Tran. Just three remain: Devin, Marcus Shoberg, and Jonathon Johnson. However, some viewers don’t think Marcus actually has feelings for Jenn.
One Bachelor Nation fan took to Reddit after the last episode that saw Jeremy Simon’s elimination. “Just got around to watching the episode. Marcus has a look when his name was called like “d*mn, I did everything and she STILL chose me. Like, it just didn’t look like someone who was excited to have more time with someone he actually considered having a future with,” they wrote on a post to discuss their opinion.

- She likes Marcus more than he likes her. Devin likes her more than she likes him. Jonathon is just a prop at this point.
- 100% he’s not nearly as invested as she is and I lowkey think he was hoping someone would point that out so he wouldn’t have to say it outright. I don’t see the chemistry but I think she wants to be the one to “fix” him and be there for him. Aside from their unconventional backgrounds, I don’t even feel like they know each other on a personal level.
- If Marcus didn’t say I’m falling for you, he probably would be the one sent home instead of Jeremy! But at the same time I feel like Jenn is kind of into his unavailability.

At least one contestant is accused to not being on seasons of The Bachelor or Bachelorette for the right reasons. Sources close to Marcus Shoberg spilled to Life & Style about his alleged true intentions.
“Not everyone goes on the show for love and Marcus is not there for love. He’s there for admiration and maybe even [wanted] to be the next Bachelor.”
His Ex Speaks Out
An ex of the military vet also talked to Life & Style. They revealed that they were in contact with Marcus shortly before he left for filming and he made it clear he wasn’t ready for marriage.
“He made excuses as to why, such as working on his career, saving money, etc. And then he went right on the show! There’s no way he is there to get married. If he wasn’t ready a week before filming, what would make him ready now?”
