Ben Higgins reacted to the timing of the Bachelor announcement. Everyone is wondering why the production announced it so early. This is not normal for them to do. Jenn Tran Sends Grant Ellis Home
Jenn Tran sent Grant Ellis home right before she solidified her final four and who would be making it to the hometown dates. She took Jeremy, Devin, Marcus, and Jonathan back to their hometowns. However, she ended up sending Jeremy home afterward. Fans think this had a lot to do with how his family acted about the situation. However, production then revealed that Grant Ellis would be the next Bachelor. This was odd. Fans did not understand why they announced who it was so early on. Some of Bachelor Nation spoke out on the timing of the casting.
Ben Higgins Speaks Out
Ben Higgins had the most to say about the timing of the casting. He found it weird.
“I think he’s going to be such an iconic Bachelor, and that’s what makes it odd to me that they haven’t done it in this big, exciting way, but they obviously have their reasons. I’ve always questioned the show, but I’ve never not believed they know what they’re doing, so they know what they’re doing. I just can’t figure out why yet.”
Other people thought the timing was unusual. However, they think it is going to help. After announcing, they had over 10,000 people sign up for the show. This way they know who they are signing up for and it allows people to decide if they want to try to be with that person or not. Regardless, people think Grant is going to make a great Bachelor. He is excited for the journey.
It seems that Ben is unsure of why they announced it so early. However, he knows they have a reason for it. Maybe it was due to what Sam McKinney had to say. He thought it was going to be Maria or Daisy. He was shocked when he got out of the limo. Maybe they wanted people to know who they were signing up for and give them the opportunity to prepare.
