‘Selling Sunset’ Christine Quinn’s Ex Demands Thousands In Split
Former Selling Sunset star Christine Quinn is navigating a difficult divorce at the moment.
Selling Sunset fans remember her elaborate wedding to Christian Richard during the series. They went on to welcome a son together before officially splitting earlier this year. She claimed he behaved incredibly violently toward her and their toddler.
While they may not be romantically linked any longer, it seems like this divorce will take some time to officially resolve. New reports indicate Christian Richards demands thousands of dollars from Christine Quinn.
Christine Quinn Allegedly Isn’t Maintaining Her Marital Property
During her days on Selling Sunset, Christine Quinn was infamous for causing problems with her colleagues. Now, it seems like she’s making her divorce as difficult as possible too.
Page Six obtained court documents relating to the messy divorce. The publication reports that Christine Quinn’s ex, Christian Richard, “filed to have a court amend the temporary restraining order against him so he could deal with alleged water damage at his property.”
Court documents reveal Christian Richard (legal name Christian Dumontet) wants the courts to remove the order that gave Christine Quinn exclusive access to the home they shared in Hollywood Hills. He states he received “a utility bill in excess of $10,000.”
On top of that, Christian Richard alleges in the documents that he’s received criminal fines from the Los Angeles Vector Control every day since July 18, 2024, for failing to keep up with property maintenance. The paperwork reveals the fines keep piling up because he legally can’t access the property due to Christine Quinn’s restraining order against him.

“Mr. Dumontet owns the property alone, as separate property, there is no marital interest in the property, and no funds were co-mingled during the duration of the marriage to have converted the property to community property,” the legal documents reportedly state. “It is clear that Ms. Quinn is not maintaining the property as the marital home, nor the familial home for the child. Ms. Quinn does not reside at the property nor has she maintained it since at least July of this year.”
Christian Richard Demands Compensation For Other Costs
The sky-high utility bill is bad enough, but that’s not the only item Christine Quinn’s ex wants compensation for. Records indicate he asked for reimbursement for “$29,000 in rental value per month for the home.” He reportedly also requested reimbursement for the price of luxury handbags he bought for Christine during their union.
This is one celebrity split that will likely get more complex before it is finalized.
