Recently, Hunter King spoke to First For Women about her upcoming Christmas movie Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. This is more than a holiday movie for her. That is because she had a surprising childhood dream to be a quarterback.
I grew up wanting to be a quarterback – so bad that I would watch Peyton Manning videos on how to throw a football.
She continued to share her personal obsession with football.
I was obsessed! I can’t say I too for a specific team. I was a Peyton Manning fan, so when he went from the Colts to the Broncos, I was like, ‘I’m bandwagoning. I goo everywhere you go.’
Therefore, her role in this Hallmark Christmas movie seems made for her. She portrays a Chiefs superfan. Therefore, it is no surprise that she gushed, “I love football, so making this movie is a dream come true. I mean, getting to film the Arrowhead stadium? What can I say? It’s incredible.”

What Is Hallmark’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story About?
In Hallmark’s Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, Hunter King plays Alana. She is a Chiefs superfan, coming from a long line of superfans. Her family is one of three finalists for Chiefs Superfans.
In comes Tyler Hynes’ character Derrick. He works for the Chiefs in Fan Relations. He gets to evaluate the three families that will help decide who wins.
Alana and Derrick quickly have sparks. However, things go awry when her grandpa’s lucky Chiefs hat goes missing. Does this mean that her family has doomed the football team?
Sounds like a Hail Mary! pass and some Christmas magic is needed.

Is New Hunter King Movie About Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Romance?
Although Hunter King and Tyler Hynes’ new Hallmark movie Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story is a unique story about a football superfan who falls in love with someone from the Chiefs front office, anyone could say that this was inspired by Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance.
Also, Travis Kelce’s mom Donna Kelce has a role in this holiday movie. In addition, last year, at Arrowhead Stadium, Hunter’s younger sister Joey King joined Taylor Swift on stage at her big show. Lastly, Hunter and Tyler went to the ESPYs.
Therefore, although this movie is not about the Taylor and Travis love story, there are certain elements that nod to this.
