Bachelorette Hometown Dates Interrupted, Why?
Fans in certain time zones will be watching Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette at different times. The East Coast and those in Central time zones will be watching the show as regularly scheduled. However, others won’t be so lucky.
The Democratic National Convention will be delaying some fans from seeing Jenn Tran on her hometown dates. The political programming will take over networks at 9 PM Central Time, which is 8 PM Mountain Time. What does this mean?
Normally, in the Mountain time zone, The Bachelorette would start at 7 and end at 9. However, with the Democratic National Convention going live on television, the hometown episode will be split up and delayed.
Fans will continue to start the hometown episode at 7:00 in Mountain time. However, at 8:00 there will be an hour’s pause while politicians take the stage. At 9:00, the second half of Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette will continue on ABC.
As for those in the Pacific time zone, Los Angeles and surrounding areas will be tuning in to watch Jenn and her remaining men at 8:00 and continue straight through until 10:00. There, the DNC will begin at 7:00.
Those not tuning in on Monday night will be able to stream Monday’s dates on Hulu on Tuesday.
Jenn’s Hometown Dates
Bachelorette Jenn Tran is already down to her final four men. She is taking the next big step and going to meet their families and see their hometowns. This is an important step and will help her decide if she can see herself in this person’s life in the future.
After meeting the families, she will be sending home another gentleman tonight. The final three men will be going on fantasy suite dates with the leading lady. During overnight dates, the lead and the remaining suitors will get the opportunity to spend all night together. There will be no cameras and this will allow them to have intimate conversations.
After fantasy suites, Jenn will decide which two men she sees a future with and introduce them both to her own family.
