Doctor Involved In Matthew Perry Death Makes Deal With Prosecutor
One of the doctors involved in Matthew Perry’s death has reached a plea deal with prosecutors. He has agreed to multiple things regarding his part in the actor’s untimely overdose death. Which doctor agreed to the deal? What terms did he agree upon? Keep reading to find out more.
One Doctor Involved In Matthew Perry’s Death Agrees To Plea Deal
In Touch revealed details involving a plea deal reached between prosecutors and one of the doctors involved in Matthew Perry’s unfortunate death. Dr. Mark Chavez agreed to enter a guilty plea and cooperate completely with prosecutors for his part in Perry’s death.
According to court documents, Chavez will cooperate fully with USAO, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the United States Postal Inspection Service, the Los Angeles Police Department, and as directed by the USAO, any federal, state, local, or foreign prosecuting, enforcement, administrative, or regulatory authority.
The physician will also respond truthfully and completely to all questions. This includes in interviews, before a grand jury, in a courtroom, or at any other trial he may be summoned to.
Chavez will also supply all evidence requested voluntarily including correspondence, documents, and any records he has in his possession. If convicted he can face up to 10 years in prison on the charge of one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine and a fine of $500,000.
Of course, now everyone knows that Matthew Perry died as a result of acute effects of Ketamine and had been heavily abusing the drug over the last few months of his life.
Chavez is accused of providing Perry’s doctor Salvador Plasencia with the Ketamine supply. They became partners working together in September or October 2023 to knowingly and willingly distribute the Ketamine.
According to reports, Plasencia and Chavez had known each other for at least twenty years.

Others Arrested In Connection With His Death
Others were arrested in the case of Matthew Perry’s death as well. His live-in assistant Kenneth Iwamasa was also arrested and pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death.
Iwamasa was the last person to see Perry alive. He was instructed by his boss to shoot him up big before Iwamasa left to run errands. Upon returning he found Perry unresponsive in his hot tub.
Jasveen Sangha, also known as “The Ketamine Queen,” was also arrested. She continues to be held in jail without bail due to being a flight risk.
The middle man who worked for her and got the supply to Iwamasa was Eric Fleming. Police arrested him and he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death. Police released him on a $100,000 bond.
Perry’s family continues to be grateful that law enforcement is taking the matter seriously and seeking criminal charges regarding Matthew’s tragic death.
