Social Media Followers Accuse Bachelorette Of Altering Her Appearance
Bachelor Nation fans first met Rachel Recchia on Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor. She was in the final three with Susie Evans and Gabby Windey. In perhaps one of the most dramatic moments in the franchise, Susie left after Clayton admitted to being intimate with both Gabby and Rachel during the overnight dates.
However, he regretted letting Susie go, begged her to return, and sent the other two ladies home. Gabby and Rachel were later named the co-Bachelorettes for Season 19. Both had failed engagements after the show, and Rachel tried to find love one more time on Bachelor In Paradise.
So, with all her screen time, viewers have watched Rachel’s appearance change over the last few years. However, her looks drastically changed over the summer and her followers can’t stop commenting on it.

Rachel Recchia Reveals Serious Illness
Despite following her on social media, it seems a lot of people are out of the loop. She’s been transparent on social media in the last few months about an ongoing serious health issue.
She was hospitalized a few months ago for what doctors originally thought was the Flu. However, she was suffering from something much more serious: a kidney infection. She was released from the hospital with a PICC line for antibiotics.
She shared several photos over the summer with the PICC line. It had a bandage wrapped around it, but many of her followers immediately knew what it was and asked about it. But apparently, some didn’t get the memo.
Rachel Recchia took to her Instagram Story over the weekend to address the speculation about the change in her appearance. She shared a collage of some of the rude comments and explained what was going on.
“Just to address this, I have been extremely sick since may i was in the hospital for a bad kidney infection that spread into my back muscles,” she wrote.
Rachel added, “I was on antibiotics through a picc line for over a month. the antibiotics made me so tired and nauseous, which led to the weight loss everyone has been commenting on.”
“I am aware I look ‘sick’ because I was sick. please be mindful, I love you all,” she told her followers.
With that cleared up, maybe fans can focus on her dating life and rumors regarding Rachel and Blake Moynes.
