‘Jeopardy!’ Gives Clue It’s On Board With ‘WOF’ Ryan Seacrest
Jeopardy! has given a clue that it’s on board with new Wheel of Fortune host, Ryan Seacrest. It is almost time for Ryan to make his grand debut and not every viewer is excited. Yet, Jeopardy!, which airs right before WoF seems to be letting fans know it will be just fine. Keep reading for more details on the stamp of approval.
Jeopardy! Gives Clue It’s On Board With WoF Ryan Seacrest
When Pat Sajak announced that he was retiring in 2024, the search was on for a replacement. He had been with Wheel of Fortune since 1981 so this was not an easy feat. Then, it was announced that Ryan Seacrest would be taking over and it made sense. He has hosted American Idol since its inception plus he was the co-host of Live! With Kelly. Finally, he has his own radio show so he has his hand in so many pots. Now, not all fans were excited about this and that is understandable.
Pat Sajak had been a mainstay for decades so those were big shoes to fill. The people over at Jeopardy! understand this conundrum as they had to fill the hole Alex Trebek left behind when he passed away in 2020. Former champion Ken Jennings was chosen as was Mayim Bialik. They switched off but eventually, Ken became the sole host and fans have ultimately accepted him but can they do the same for Ryan? Luckily, Jeopardy! has given a huge clue that they are welcoming the new host with the most to the game show arena.

The long-running game show posted a montage of contestants saying Ryan Seacrest’s name as an answer via Instagram. In the caption, they wrote:
“This famous host is all set to launch a new era of @WheelofFortune on September 9. #RSTLNE.”
So, it seems they are very much on board with Ryan as the new host or at the very least, trying to get others hyped up about the rebrand of the show.
Has This Helped Fans?
So, has this endorsement from Jeopardy! helped fans get ready and excited for Ryan Seacrest’s Wheel of Fortune debut? It was very mixed:
- I’m actually interested in seeing how he does!
- Nah, there’s no joy in his eyes. Someone else, please.
- Ryan is a great choice!!!
- Should have found someone newer to take over for Wheel
It is only a matter of time before viewers will get to judge for themselves and decide if Ryan is the best choice for the job. Hopefully, everyone will give him a chance to prove himself and show what he is made of.
