Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird is flying high on love with her new man and she has no problem showing it off. The daughter of Mama June Shannon just filed for divorce on August 1st from her husband of six years, Josh Efird. Yet, she has wasted no time getting back out there. When Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird filed for divorce, it was unexpected, to say the least. There were no signs that they were in trouble. Yet, Josh Efird had expressed some concerns about his wife’s mental health amid her sister, Anna Cardwell’s passing. Still, they did not show they were having any true issues but looks can be deceiving. She claimed that they had been apart for a few months and it was mutual. Pumpkin then was allegedly dating a man named Darrin Kitchens who was also Josh’s cousin.
It then came out that Josh and Darrin’s grandmother passed in April and right after, Pumpkin and Darrin got together. This may have been the downfall of her marriage to Josh. Not necessarily because she was with his cousin but at the grandma’s funeral and while they were still together. Pumpkin and Darrin Kitchens first officially stepped out and attended a Zach Bryan show. Then, they just headed to Las Vegas with Mama June, Justin Stroud, and some friends. Darrin was referred to as the new stepdaddy which fans felt was hurtful to Josh.

Now, they have all landed in Las Vegas and Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird is showing off her new love once again. She displayed it on her Facebook page.
The duo seemed very happy on their vacation despite being with Mama June who Pumpkin has been up and down with for years. Yet, she was tipsy and happily in love so that may have made their travels easier. So, after seeing this newest display of affection, what did fans have to say?

She just wanted free time from the kids and NEW DICK.
She should’ve stayed single for a while before jumping into a relationship. She should’ve focused on her kids and family. I wonder how her family feels about this situation.
I think its a mistake.. not my life though. hope she doesn’t flow her moms well paved road.
I wonder if Pumpkin realizes the only respectable person in her entire family was Josh? Not that he’s perfect, but he tries. Everyone else is just white trash white trashing their way through life. I feel for those kids, they don’t have a chance with that family.

the new guy has remarried the same women 3 times, she’s probably the only one who will have him besides punkin dumb ass, setting a real good example for the baby’s, (NOT). he has cheated b4 with who ever and gotten divorced back and forth with ex, what makes punkin think he’s not going to do that too her , that’s his pattern, when his free ride and trips are all over, he’ll be going back to his old ways, poor baby’s is all I can say. will say punkin is doing her hair and make up at least where she wasn’t doing shit with keeping herself up,
Josh is a good guy never thought they had trouble but in-laws will drive you apart trust me I know he’s a wonderful dad and always good to Lauryn.
The odds were definitely stacked against Lauryn and Josh, but I had really hoped they might actually make it nonetheless. As for flaunting the new boyfriend so soon? Not a good look. But, more importantly, Lauryn’s top priority should be maintaining a stable environment for her children, and IMHO, that doesn’t include immediately encouraging them to become close to new boyfriends that aren’t likely to be around long term.
Pumpkin is the biggest piece of white trash there is. She got with Josh’s cousin who by the way has been married to the same woman 3 different times. So there’s some red flags for you. So Lauryn has definitely destroyed that marriage and her kids. Josh should have custody of those kids and Pumpkin should being paying spousal support. She should be ashamed of herself.
