General Hospital Fans Think The Soap Is ‘Boring’

While the consensus of General Hospital fans was that the show is great, others commented on how the soap opera has become “boring” recently. Many viewers were upset when GH writers axed Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) earlier this week.

She was fired and reportedly filmed her last episode for the soap opera. In the show’s storyline, Blaze goes on tour and is shown saying goodbye to Kristina (Kate Mansi). Kristina and Blaze dated for a while, but split up and Blaze jumped at the opportunity to travel after the breakup.

“The writers have to get it together,” one fan said after they decided to get rid of Blaze’s character. “Don’t like the Drew and Willow storyline, the usual, older man, younger woman scenario. Boring,” a second person wrote online. A third person chimed in, “Another snooze fest.”

Others have complained about the Jagger storyline, calling it a “stupid story” that is “a waste of time.”

Jacqueline Grace Lopez said that she didn’t see the firing coming. “When you spend almost two years with this group, you start to feel like part of the fabric,” she said. “I’m so grateful to Frank for asking me back. I am grateful to everyone I got to tell stories with, both in front and behind the camera.

She continued, saying that she learned a lot on the set of General Hospital“Jobs come and go, but it’s the people you miss. I’m definitely going to miss this bunch,” the GH actor concluded.

  1. I think a really good story line would have been for Blaze to shoot Ava. No one would suspect her right away because she is on tour!
