Some Redditors recently discussed the absence of Jill at Jana and Stephen’s wedding. According to the poster, they were surprised that there were still no photos of Jill at the wedding, especially considering her close relationship with Jana. Some speculate that she didn’t want to be at her sister’s big day because of her estrangement from the family, while others think she’s trying to avoid Jim Bob after seemingly getting him into potential legal trouble.

The day after Jana’s wedding day Derick took to social media to share a post. However, the Counting On alum didn’t congratulate the newlyweds. Instead, he promoted his and Jill’s book, “Counting The Cost,” which featured some shocking revelations about Jim Bob.
According to Derick Dillard, an updated and edited version of the memoir is now available. Many were surprised by the timing of his post. Many are divided, as some think she’s throwing shade at the Duggar family because of a possible intentional snub for Jana’s wedding, while others speculate that he may have used the opportunity amid the recent attention on the Duggar family.

Despite her mysterious absence at the wedding, Jill assures her followers that she’s happy for her sister. In an IG Stories post, the Counting On alum congratulated the newlyweds, saying, “My sister is married! Congratulations @JanaMDuggar and @StephenWissmann.”
Many of Jana’s sisters also took to social media to compliment her wedding attire. One of them was Jinger, who said that her sister was “the most stunning bride.”

I am SO happy for Jana. I have never and continue to dislike Derrick. I think he is just a pot stirrer. Why? No idea. He has challenged the “Duggar ways” since day one. Not that I agree with all of them but he has just pulled Jill away from her family despite that she always seemed happy before he came along.
